Jaffray Care works in partnership with people with various abilities and health care needs to ensure they receive a personalised, needs led, support service which is evidence based, outcome driven and promotes rights, independence, choice and inclusion. This often includes Elderly care, Stroke recovery, Brain injury, Physical Disabilites & Learning Disabilities.

The Jaffray Care Learning Disability Services were originally part of the NHS – North Birmingham Health Authority and opened its doors on the 18th February 1991.  It was built in response to The Community Care Act 1990, the aim at the time was to close long-stay hospitals and move people with learning difficulties into supported community based services.

Jaffray Care aims to create a better future for all people over the age of 18 with care needs.

We are able to provide exactly the right level of care and support with a team of highly qualified and specially trained staff who are capable of dealing with individual service users’ needs; whether this is merely periodic one-to-one guidance, or more intensive twenty-four hour care.

Jaffray Care is a place where people’s wellbeing and mental health are valued and promoted, so that anyone in our care, working in the charity or coming into contact with the charity is encouraged to value and invest in their own health and wellbeing.
