Staff BBQs!

10 August 2017

Staff BBQ

The Care Management Team and Directors of Jaffray Care held BBQs on Friday 4th August and Saturday 5th August to celebrate all the staff’s hard work and dedication shown to the Charity over the past 12 months. As most people know, care homes are very busy places at the best of times but the Care Managers all spent time to make sure everybody in the company could have either Friday or Saturday off so they could come and enjoy the festivities!
It was decided that the hard working staff should put their feet up, to be waited on by the managers, so on the BBQ cooking was Chris Lees aka Gordon Ramsey, and Mike Weir aka Ainsley Harriet, with the vegetarian option cooked by Lian Hargreaves, Care Manager at Parkfields.
In the Board room was a beautifully laid out buffet along with some gorgeous sweets/desserts, and of course there was also a very well stocked supply of beers, wines, soft drinks; enough to keep everybody occupied!

The party was in full swing with the DJ Anthony turning out the “tunes” and everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves.  The weather was perfect all day Friday.
Some bad weather early on Saturday didn’t dampen the spirits too much as the clouds soon swept the rain away and it turned out to be a sunny afternoon.  Everyone was in the spirit again and very much enjoying the afternoon.
Thanks all round to (in no particular order), carers, managers, deputies, drivers, directors, nurses, cleaners, office staff and the estates team; everyone that makes Jaffray Care run successfully day to day.
