Staff BBQ

27 September 2018

It was that time of year again when the staff at Jaffray Care could let their hair down and enjoy a day of food, drink and entertainment. As is now tradition, and as a way of saying “thank you” it is the management team’s day to wait on our wonderful staff and ensure they have a time to remember!

Say Hello ……..
The afternoon was also an opportunity for everyone to welcome Parkfields new manager, Rachel Craven who comes to Jaffray Care after a 30 year career working for Birmingham City Council. She brings with her extensive knowledge of  the learning disability field.

………and Wave Goodbye
It was also a sad day as we said goodbye to Lian Hargreaves after a career which spanned nearly 20 years with Jaffray Care. Lian was presented with an olive tree as a permanent reminder of her time with the charity. She is pictured here with her colleagues from Parkfields and the management team.

Eileen Hughes also retired in style after 19 years’ service at Lime Court. Eileen was presented with flowers, a beautiful crystal vase commemorating her time at Jaffray Care and given a cheque for £200. Reminiscing how they had worked together on the front line our CEO said that Eileen would be truly missed by all. After spending sometime in the sun Eileen has promised to come back to see us.
