Hello, my name is Nikki and I work for Jaffray Care a charity that provides care and support to people with complex health needs.
Darren has lived at his home with Jaffray for 15 years and I have had the pleasure of working with him for almost 4 years. We all know the current climate is difficult and social care has taken a big hit but we always keep fighting to ensure the people in our care live a fulfilled and enhanced life. Myself and Darren are going to take part in the Sutton Fun Run 2024 to raise money. Darren and his friends who live with him at his home have expressed their wish for a new sensory garden. As some of Darren’s friends have sensory impairment and autism a sensory garden would provide calming stimulation.
We are asking our friends and family to donate as little or as much as you can so we can make this dream a reality for Darren and his friends. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
