Another night to remember for Jaffray Care at the ‘Oscar’ night of all learning disability awards. Sarah Harnell walked away with the prestigious Registered Manager Award after beating nine other finalists from all over the country.
Testament to her expertise and experience one of the judges, Stephen Penketh a Business Development Manager at The National Care Group, said;
“Well done Sarah. Your work commitment, attention and compassion demonstrated your truly deserving of this award! Enjoy your success and continue doing what you’re doing because the sector needs managers like you!”
Sarah was also instrumental earlier in the year for ensuring Jaffray Care won the Large Employer of the Year Award from Aspirations Training. Sarah was also interviewed and filmed discussing good practice and innovation at Jaffray Care: youtu.be/NCE8zXQB4iA
The night which was attended by over a thousand people from the field also saw Jaffrays Chief Executive, Lee Hendon present the Care Support Worker of the Year to Florance Ndlow from Camp Hill Village Trust in recognition that “support workers are the unsung heroes of the care workforce and Jaffray Care want to put a spotlight on all the people who truly make a difference”.
A huge congratulations also has to go to Ralph Barlow was also a finalist for the Life Time Achievement Award and Jaffray made finalist for the fourth year running for Employer of the Year after winning it in 2015 and 2016.
