What an incredible transformation – we are so grateful!
On behalf of everyone at Jaffray Care, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to the A38(M) team for their outstanding support in renovating the garden at our Activity Hub in Erdington, Birmingham.
Almost 140 hours of volunteering and over £1,200 in donated materials is an extraordinary contribution. From removing worn hedges and damaged brickwork to laying fresh turf, constructing accessible raised planters, and repainting the fence to brighten the whole space — the care, thought and teamwork behind this project truly shows.
The accessible planters, built at a suitable height for wheelchair users, will make a lasting difference to the adults who attend our Activity Hub, giving them more opportunities to engage in gardening activities, build skills, and enjoy time outdoors in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
To Mark, David, Michael, Sarabjit, Navi, Matt, Amrit, Kiran, Tom, Lok, Brett and Kaelam — thank you. Your hard work has created a space that will benefit our service users for many years to come.
We’re also excited (and slightly nervous!) as members of our team prepare to take on a skydive in June to raise further funds to continue improving this space. Any additional support is always appreciated.

Partnerships like this show the real impact that local businesses can have in their communities — and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Jumpstart the Garden! Update
SKYDIVE UPDATE We were all set to do our skydive last Saturday 4th October, but Storm Amy has had other ideas. The jump has been postponed and will now take place on Saturday 20th June 2026. We chose next summer to give us the best chance of clear skies! The good news...
